Marie's fight with cancer
On September 11, 2002 Marie fainted in her bathroom after jogging with her husband Micke. After tests to find the cause of her fainting, a small tumour was discovered in the back of her brain. The tumour was successfully removed - but it was cancer. Marie has been through radiation and chemotherapy.

At the moment there is almost no news about Marie but she is said to be doing much better and working on a new album which may be released this year.

When Marie got ill, we started a prayer chain for her. You can still join here! Prayer Chain!
Marie sent this message to the webmaster when she heard about our chain:
"Dear Marie Davis
and all my fans,
How can I thank you enough for your kind thoughts and wonderful care during my illness. I want you to know that I know that all your prayers have helped me a lot and given me a lot of strength. I’m feeling so much better every day. Slowly I’m starting to write music again. Allthough the rest of this year will be a resting year, I’m sure I’ll see you all very soon again.
From the bottom of my heart, a sincere thanks to all of you.
